(57) [Summary]nA method for treating cancer is provided. The method includes the steps of (1) administering a farnesyl protein transferase inhibitor with (2) an additional Ras signaling pathway inhibitor to induce cancer cell death and tumor regression. In a preferred embodiment, the FPT inhibitor is a fused ring tricyclic benzocycloheptapyridine. In a preferred embodiment, the further Ras signaling pathway inhibitor is a kinase inhibitor. |
