abstract | (57) [Summary]nA method is disclosed for producing polyolefin pellets containing at least one unreacted free radical generator that chemically decomposes upon heating to produce a low viscosity polymer. The method comprises contacting a polyolefin pellet with at least one free radical generator to coat the pellet and treating the coated pellet and at least one unreacted material for a time sufficient to immerse the free radical initiator inside the pellet at an elevated temperature.
