titleOfInvention | Catalytic production of olefins at high methanol partial pressures. |
abstract | Summary [57] Disclosed is a catalytic method for operating an oxygenate to olefin conversion reaction that provides significant amounts of the major olefin in the product. The product is provided by operating within the desired parameters of weight hourly space velocity and oxygenate partial pressure. The reaction is operated to supply the oxygenate with an oxygenate ratio index of at least 0.5, and the weight hourly space velocity and the molar flow rate of the oxygenate to the reactor are at least 0.1 psia -1 hr -1. Control to maintain a partial pressure-rate correction factor of at least 45% by weight of the main olefin selectivity. |
