abstract Abstract: Systems and methods for obtaining an iris or eye image during a refractive diagnostic analysis have been presented. This image is used to match the data from the analysis with data from other refractive analyzers and to eye refractive surgical instruments such as lasers for treatment. In addition, the stored iris image is compared to the patient's iris before the procedure to ensure that the correct eye is treated using the developed treatment pattern. Various refraction devices can be used, such as corneal morphology systems and wavefront aberration systems.
