(57) SUMMARY The present invention provides an improved integrated system for biological marker identification. Microvolume laser (11) scanning microscopy (MLSC) (16) is used to measure the pattern of expression of biological markers in biological fluid (10). The system includes an improved instrument for performing MLSC, and also includes improved particle detection and analysis methods. Further, the system includes an information processing system architecture for analyzing data obtained from the MLSC in cooperation with other medical information. |
