(57) Abstract: The present invention provides a phenyl-alkane by isomerizing paraffin (30), followed by dehydrogenation of paraffin (70), and alkylating (104) a phenyl compound with a lightly branched olefin. It is a method of manufacturing. The processing solution from the alkylation zone contains paraffin which is refluxed to the isomerization step (30) or the dehydrogenation step (70). Furthermore, the present invention is compositions produced by these methods and methods of using the compositions produced by these methods. |
