Retro-inverso peptide derived from leukemia inhibitory factor |
abstract |
(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a retro-inverso peptide derived from leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) having 18 to about 40 amino acids and comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. The peptide has the same activity as native LIF and also has neurotrophic activity. Due to D-amino acid linkages within the peptides, they show less susceptibility to proteolysis in vivo. |
