abstract | (57) [Summary]nA method for rapidly detecting and counting microorganisms having a certain level of microbial ATP in the presence of a mammalian cell preparation, comprising the following steps: Mammalian cells having a certain level of mammalian ATP Providing a mammalian cell preparation comprising: extracting the mammalian ATP by differentially lysing the level of mammalian ATP in the cell preparation by detergent or osmotic shock to extract mammalian ATP; Reduced mammalian ATP by treating it with at least one ATP hydrolase; and immobilizing these microorganisms by filtering the mammalian cell preparation through a micro-compartmented hydrophilic / hydrophobic membrane; Wash off detergent and hydrolase; extract microbial ATP using extraction reagent; dry the membrane; apply bioluminescent reagent to this membrane. Teeth; and detecting and counting the microorganisms. |
