abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a printing plate having an edge where unnecessary portions can be cut easily and safely at a plate making work site, and further, there is no cut residue. An ultrasonic cutter having a blade vibrating at a frequency of 100 kHz or less when cutting unnecessary portions in a method of making a cardboard printing plate obtained by laminating a printing plate alone or a printing plate and a support. A method for making a cardboard printing plate, characterized in that unnecessary portions are cut by using a method. Further, the frequency of the ultrasonic cutter is 10 to 50. Preferably, it is kHz.
