Multi-layer polymer hose line or tube with reduced length change |
abstract |
A two-layer or three-layer polymer hose line or tube for use as a pressurized fluid conduit in an automobile is provided with continuously corrugated walls or sections. You can put a wall that is corrugated. The tube has an outer layer of a hard polymer mold material and an inner layer of a soft rubbery polymer or polymer mixture. The inner layer can be provided with a layer of a thermoplastic elastomer composition having improved adhesion. Layer materials are selected to provide a "hard-soft combination". The rubber-like polymer composition is from 30 Shore A to 60 Shore D, especially having a hardness ranging from about 30 Shore A to 90 Shore A. The composition can be processed by coextrusion or the so-called Conex process and adheres directly or unambiguously or exactly to each other, i.e. without delamination without additional binder. Is selected. |
