(57) [Problem] To provide a resin composition for a sliding member and a sliding member exhibiting excellent friction and wear characteristics when a soft metal such as an aluminum alloy is used as a mating material. SOLUTION: A polyethylene resin is 0.5 to 30% by weight, a hydrocarbon wax is 1 to 15% by weight, and barium sulfate is 0.1 to 0.3% by weight. A resin composition for a sliding member comprising 1 to 5% by weight and a balance of a polyamide resin. |
