abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To efficiently ionize a sample, suppress the incidence of non-ionized droplets on a mass spectrometer, and increase the sensitivity of mass spectrometry. A charged ion mirror (4) is provided in an ionization mechanism (1) including an ion source (2) to send sample ions to a mass spectrometer (30). A fine atomized droplet sample containing sample ions and non-ionized sample droplets is sprayed on an ion mirror. A heated nitrogen gas or the like is blown onto the ion mirror. by this, Ion generation is performed in an ion mirror. A plurality of sample ion sources are provided, and sample ions generated by different ion sources are introduced into an ion mirror by switching ion paths. In addition, a function is provided for adjusting the angle at which a mist sample containing sample ions and sample droplets from the ion source enters the ion mirror, and the voltage applied to the ion mirror.
