titleOfInvention | Method for molding hot melt resin composition, method for sealing hard disk drive using the same, and hot melt sealant composition for hard disk drive cover |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modifications) [PROBLEMS] To provide a method of molding a hot-melt resin composition having excellent dimensional accuracy. SOLUTION: A sealing agent is processed into a predetermined shape, and a mold (upper mold) 5 is placed on a lid of a storage container for a hard disk drive, and a mold (lower mold) 6 is also applied from the back of the lid. The lid is sandwiched by a mold, a load is applied and fixed, and the mold is clamped. The mold is maintained at a predetermined temperature below the softening point of the sealing agent, and then the hot runner system 4 of the molding machine is used. The molten hot-melt type sealing agent composition is injected into the mold from an injection port near the molding section by using the above method. After the completion of the injection, the hot melt-type sealing agent composition is cooled to a temperature set in a mold and solidified. Thereafter, the solidified sealing agent is released from the mold (upper mold) 5. At this time, a mold release agent may be applied to the mold, but if the mold is coated with a fluororesin, the mold can be easily released. |
