titleOfInvention | Image forming method, image forming apparatus, process cartridge, and electrophotographic photosensitive member |
abstract | (57) [Problem] Despite good image quality, the adhesion of the end portion of the photoreceptor coating layer is good and there is no film peeling, no toner filming, no toner contamination, and no defects such as black spots. Another object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic image forming method, an image forming apparatus, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor used for the same, which have good durability. SOLUTION: An excess coating layer surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which a coating layer including at least a photosensitive layer is formed on a cylindrical conductive substrate is brought into contact with a rubbing means, and a shape of an end portion of the coating layer from which the coating layer is removed. Wherein the variation coefficient of the shape factor of the toner to be used is 16% or less using an electrophotographic photosensitive member within the specified range. |
