titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for removing heavy metal elements contained in seafood processing residues
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for solving a problem in a technique for removing harmful heavy metal elements by selectively adsorbing cadmium and the like contained in marine product processing residues by chelating type ion exchange fibers. SOLUTION: In processing marine product processing residue, the processing residue is previously washed with pure water to remove sea water and metals contained therein. Next, solid-liquid separation is performed by shearing the processing residue, and the solid obtained by the squeezing is subjected to liquefaction treatment with a protease, followed by solid-liquid separation and oil-water separation by centrifugation to obtain a separated liquid. Are respectively brought into contact with the chelating type ion exchange fibers to adsorb and remove harmful heavy metal elements mainly composed of cadmium. The ion-exchange fibers are used as COOH groups whose ion-exchange groups have been cleaned by a conditioning treatment in advance.
