titleOfInvention | Polyester fiber for papermaking and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber having a single fiber fineness of 0.5 dtex or less and excellent in dispersibility of fibers in water in a paper making process. SOLUTION: An ethylene terephthalate unit is used as a main repeating unit, and a phosphorus compound is used as a phosphorus atom in an amount of from 0.3 to 0.3. After melt-spinning 2.0% by weight of the copolymerized polyester, it is flow-drawn at a draw ratio of 3 times or more, subsequently neck-drawn and cut, and has a single fiber fineness of 0.5 dtex or less and a fiber length of 0.5 dtex or less. It is a polyester fiber of 2 to 25 mm. |
