titleOfInvention New keratinase
abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel enzyme that combines a novel protease D1 and a novel disulfide reductase D1 to decompose a water-insoluble protein such as keratin. A microorganism belonging to a gram-negative rod-shaped bacterium, D1 Keratin is degraded by a combination of protease D1 and disulfide reductase D1 produced by strain (Bacterium D1) (Patent Organism Depositary, accession number FERM P-18481). This new enzyme, Bact The supernatant obtained by culturing erium D1 is concentrated by ultrafiltration, and the fraction exhibiting the highest keratinolytic activity by anion chromatography is subjected to gel filtration chromatography to obtain two fractions.
