titleOfInvention Ignition coil for internal combustion engine
abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine that suppresses generation of voids in a high-voltage portion of an ignition coil and has high insulation durability. The present invention comprises a bobbin in which a bobbin skin layer dissolving surface is exposed by dissolving a skin layer resin portion of a bobbin made of a synthetic resin, whereby the bobbin surface is activated and wettability is enhanced. It is characterized in that generation of voids generated at the interface between the bobbin and the insulating resin material is suppressed. [Effect] Not only the generation of harmful voids which are likely to occur on the surface of the secondary bobbin is suppressed, but also the adhesion between the bobbin and the insulating resin material is improved, and the insulation durability of the ignition coil can be increased.
