titleOfInvention | Thermal development processing apparatus, photothermographic image forming material, and thermal development processing method |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for processing a photothermographic image forming material, in which a heat development process capable of obtaining a rapid, uniform, and stable photographic performance independent of the processing amount per unit time. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and a thermal development processing apparatus for processing the same, and to provide a photothermographic image forming material suitable for the method. SOLUTION: A sheet-like photothermographic image forming material having a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide particles, an organic silver salt and a reducing agent on at least one surface of a support and a layer for protecting the photosensitive layer is developed. When the photothermographic image forming material conveyed in the apparatus is developed while being pressed against a heat drum, the temperature drop of the heat drum caused by the amount to be processed is added to the drum or a counter roller. A thermal development processing apparatus, wherein thermal compensation is performed by heating. |
