abstract | [PROBLEMS] To make the flow and current distribution of a plating solution one-dimensional and to easily and accurately measure the electrochemical state of a measurement solution without using a reference electrode containing chloride ions. And an electrode system which can be used repeatedly and a method for measuring an electrochemical state using the same. An electrode system including an electrode holder having a sample electrode and a reference electrode, and a counter electrode provided separately from the electrode holder, wherein the electrode holder has a non-cylindrical hole having a closed cylindrical end. Formed of conductive material, The sample electrode is provided on the bottom surface of the hole, and the reference electrode is provided at an arbitrary position on the peripheral wall of the hole, and the flow direction of ions between the sample electrode and the reference electrode is changed. A method for evaluating the electrochemical state of a solution, comprising measuring a potential between a sample electrode and a counter electrode while keeping it constant and comparing the potential with a reference electrode. |
