(57) [Summary] The present invention makes it possible to suppress a decrease in output during long-term power generation and to suppress the emission of toxic substances. SOLUTION: The direct fuel cell power generation device of the present invention allows an anode, a cathode, an electrolyte membrane sandwiched between a front anode and a cathode, an anode flow passage through which fuel flows, and an oxidant to flow. A cathode passage, a fuel container connected to a supply port of the anode passage, and a fuel, an unreacted oxidant, and a battery reaction product connected to an outlet of the cathode passage and supplied to an electromotive unit. In a direct type methanol fuel cell power generation device provided with a cathode recovery container for recovering water, a substance discharged from the cathode outlet is brought into contact with water present in the cathode recovery container to perform gas-liquid contact. And a mechanism for sending the aqueous solution collected in the cathode collection container to the fuel storage container. |
