abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] When molding a carbonaceous powder and a binder as components, by reducing the amount of the binder, the conductivity is improved and the gas barrier property and strength are maintained. A high performance fuel cell separator is obtained. SOLUTION: In a fuel cell separator composed of a molded body containing a carbonaceous powder such as graphite powder and a binder, the amount of the binder used is 15 parts by weight or less based on 100 parts by weight of the carbonaceous powder. Gas permeability is 500 × 10 -15 m ol ・ m / m 2 ・ s ・ Pa or less, volume resistivity is 15mΩ ・ cm or less, so that the binder is efficiently penetrated and coated in or on the carbonaceous powder, the interparticle distance of the carbonaceous powder reduced by pressurization is maintained, and the generation of voids is suppressed.
