abstract | (57) [Problem] The present invention has good adhesiveness with an ethylene-α-olefin-non-conjugated diene rubber compound, hardly causes liquid leakage at a swaged portion, and has a stable hose manufacturing process. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a polyester fiber for reinforcing a rubber hose for providing a hose having high flexibility. A method for producing a hose reinforcing polyester fiber according to the present invention comprises the steps of: adding an aliphatic polyepoxide (A) and an ethylene-α-olefin-non-conjugated diene rubber latex to a polyester fiber previously treated with a treating agent containing a polyepoxide compound; A first treating agent containing B) is applied and heat-treated, followed by resorcinol-formaldehyde precondensate (C) and terpolymer latex of vinylpyridine / styrene / butadiene (D) and parachlorophenol. A second treatment agent containing a resorcinol-formaldehyde cocondensate (E) is applied and heat-treated. |
