PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material which is excellent in flexibility (sealability) and creep resistance and can be suitably used for sealing gas, liquid, and solid powder. SOLUTION: Terephthalic acid unit is 60 to 100 mol%. A polyamide (A) comprising a dicarboxylic acid unit (a) to be contained and a diamine unit (b) containing 60 to 100 mol% of 1,9-nonanediamine unit and / or 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit. A sealing material comprising 50% by weight or more and having a creep strain of 5% or less when a stress of 42 MPa is applied for 1000 hours at 23 ° C. and 50% relative humidity in accordance with JIS K7115. |
