abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge rubber composition capable of producing a sponge having a low density and a high modulus, and an ethylene copolymer rubber composition useful as a rubber component of the composition. SOLUTION: An ethylene-based copolymer rubber composition comprises an ethylene / α-olefin / non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber (a) having a Mooney viscosity of 20 to 70, an ethylene content of 40 to 60% by weight, and an iodine value of 25 to 35, Mooney viscosity 150 ~ 250, an ethylene / α-olefin / non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber (b) having an ethylene content of 60 to 80% by weight and an iodine value of 15 to 25, and (a) / (b) weight ratio of 60. / 40-85 / 15, Mooney viscosity 50-90. The rubber composition for a sponge is obtained by blending magnesium silicate (surface treatment with a silane coupling agent) or aluminum silicate (surface treatment with a silane coupling agent), a foaming agent, and the like with the ethylene-based copolymer rubber composition. |
