titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic emulsion |
abstract | [Problem] To provide an excellent silver halide photographic emulsion having high sensitivity and reduced fog. A silver halide photographic emulsion characterized in that tabular grains satisfying the following (i) to (iv) occupy 70% or more (number ratio) of all grains. (I) a silver iodochlorobromide grain having a (111) plane as a main plane and two parallel twin planes; (ii) an equivalent circle equivalent diameter of 2.5 μm or more and a grain thickness of 0.15 μm or less; iii) A silver halide epitaxial junction is selectively added to the apex of the host tabular grain. (Iv) When the silver halide epitaxial junction is viewed from a direction perpendicular to the (111) main plane, 60% or more of the projected area of each junction is on the outside of the host tabular grain. It is an existing protruding joint. |
