titleOfInvention Method for producing 5-isoquinolinesulfonic acid
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 5-isoquinolinesulfonic acid which can be industrially easily carried out. SOLUTION: A method for producing 5-isoquinolinesulfonic acid, wherein isoquinoline is directly dropped and reacted with fuming sulfuric acid having a concentration of 5 to 30%. Preferably, the reaction is carried out at -10 to 100 ° C for 0.5 to 10 hours, and fuming sulfuric acid is used in an amount of 3 to 15 times by mass of isoquinoline. The reaction solution does not solidify during the reaction, and high-purity 5-isoquinolinesulfonic acid can be produced with a high yield in a one-step reaction.
