titleOfInvention | Negatively chargeable toner |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a negatively chargeable toner capable of improving transfer efficiency by minimizing fog toner and reverse transfer toner as much as possible and further preventing toner dropout and dust. The negatively chargeable toner (8) has a work function of hydrophobic negatively chargeable silica (15a, 15b) smaller than the toner base particles (8a), the alumina-silica composite oxide fine particles (13), and the conductive fine particles (14). Silica 15a, 15 b adheres to the toner base particles 8a and then to the negatively chargeable silicas 15a and 15b, the alumina-silica composite oxide fine particles having an average primary particle diameter between those of the negatively chargeable silicas 15a and 15b. 13 and conductive fine particles 14 larger than the negatively chargeable silicas 15a and 15b are attached to the toner base particles 8a in contact with each other. By using a mixture of the alumina-silica composite oxide fine particles 13 and the conductive fine particles 14, dust is prevented and the toner is prevented from dropping out at the center of the line image. |
