titleOfInvention | Method for producing photographic support and photographic support |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] (with correction) [Problem] An undercoat layer capable of coating a gelatin undercoat layer coating solution onto a continuously running photographic support at high speed without coating unevenness and generating bubbles. Provided is a method for producing a photographic support, which has no coating defects and no paper breakage in a coater. A resin coating layer containing a polyolefin resin as a main component is provided on both sides of a sheet-like substrate, and a gelatin coating solution is applied on the resin coating layer on the side to be coated with a photographic emulsion by an offset gravure coater. In the method for manufacturing the photographic support 1 provided with the pulling layer, the offset roll 4 is reversed with respect to the rotation direction of the backup roll 2 which is the running direction of the support, and the gravure roll 5 is reversed with respect to the rotation direction of the offset roll. In addition, the offset roll and the backup roll face each other with an interval equal to or greater than the thickness of the support, and the offset roll is applied to the support between the backup rolls by a kiss reverse coating method. |
