titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic emulsion |
abstract | [57] A high-sensitivity spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion is provided. A silver halide emulsion comprising a dispersion medium and silver halide tabular grains having a {111} face having a smooth main surface over 50% of the total projected area, on the main surface of the tabular grains. Are bonded with a high iodide epitaxial phase containing 97 mol% or more of silver iodide, and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (1) and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (2) are contained in the emulsion. A silver halide emulsion containing a sensitizing dye represented by General formula (1) In the formula, Z 1 represents a 5-membered or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, R 1 , R 2 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, and M 1 to M 4 represents a methine group, V 1 to V 4 represent a substituent or a hydrogen atom, n is 0, 1; k is 0, 1, 2 or 3; Z 2 and Z 3 are non-metallic atom groups that complete a thiazole nucleus, an oxazole nucleus, a selenazole nucleus, etc., and R 3 and R 4 are alkyl groups. Group X 1 - represents an anion, and m represents 1 or 2. |
