titleOfInvention Liquid crystal dropping device capable of checking remaining liquid crystal and method of measuring remaining liquid crystal
abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal dropping device capable of dropping liquid crystal directly onto a large-area glass substrate including at least one liquid crystal panel. A nozzle having a discharge hole for dropping liquid crystal on a substrate, a needle that selectively moves up and down, a spring member that moves the needle to a lower position to shut off the discharge hole, and a magnetic member. A liquid crystal dropping unit including a solenoid coil that provides a force to move the needle to an upper position to separate the needle from a discharge hole, a power supply unit that supplies power to the solenoid coil, and the liquid crystal dropping unit. A gas supply unit for supplying pressure to the liquid crystal by supplying gas to the means, and calculating a drop amount of the liquid crystal dropped on the substrate, and subtracting the calculated drop amount from the amount of the liquid crystal filled in the liquid crystal dropping means. And a main controller for measuring the remaining amount of the liquid crystal remaining in the liquid crystal dropping means.
