titleOfInvention Thermal recording medium
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium having good coloring properties and heat resistance of a non-recording part, and excellent storage stability of a recording image part. The object of the present invention is to form an undercoat layer and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing an electron-donating color-forming dye precursor and an electron-accepting color-developing compound which develops color under heating on a support. In the heat-sensitive recording medium, the undercoat layer contains at least one of 4-acetylbiphenyl, di-p-methylbenzyl oxalate, β-naphthylbenzyl ether, and diphenylsulfone, and the heat-sensitive recording layer contains The problem is solved by containing 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone as an electron accepting color developing compound.
