abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Problem] To improve the use efficiency of electron beam or X-ray, Further, a water treatment system is provided in which irradiation of sewage with an electron beam or X-ray is uniform. SOLUTION: In the water treatment system for irradiating the water to be treated with an electron beam or an X-ray, a water treatment system in which a passage of the water to be treated in an electron beam or an X-ray irradiator has a multilayer structure. It is preferable that the thickness of the multilayer be a thickness at which 90% or more of the electron beam stops or a thickness at which the X-ray intensity becomes 1/10 or less. Further, it is preferable that the thickness of each layer in the multilayer is such that the water to be treated has the same integrated dose at the exit of the electron beam or X-ray irradiation unit. |
