abstract | [57] [Summary] [Problem] When positioning and supporting a slave medium or a master carrier by a center pin of a holder, the dust accompanying the removal is removed by suction to reduce the adhesion of dust to the close contact surface, resulting in a transfer defect. Provided is a magnetic transfer device that prevents the above. When a master carrier 3 having a transfer pattern is held in a holder 5, a slave medium 2 to be transferred is supplied to the master carrier 3, and both are brought into close contact with each other to apply a transfer magnetic field to perform magnetic transfer. In addition, the holder 5 is provided with a center pin 14 for positioning and supporting the center hole 2a of the slave medium 2 or the center holes of the master carriers 3 and 4 at the center, and a suction passage for dust suction is opened at or near the center pin 14. The dust generated when the slave medium 2 and the like are attached to and detached from the center pin 14 is removed by suction. |
