(57) Abstract: A polyol according to the present invention is obtained by ring-opening polymerization of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of lactides, lactams and lactones in the presence of an alkylglucoside. A polyol characterized by the following. The polyurethane resin and the polyurethane foam according to the present invention have biodegradability, have excellent mechanical properties, and are easy to handle as a raw material polyol. Such polyurethane resins are safer when compared to the prior art when released into the natural environment. |
