abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] Even when printing on plain paper, it is possible to obtain a high-quality image without feathering or color bleed, to obtain a printed matter excellent in abrasion resistance, and to record. A high image density is obtained without the liquid penetrating deep into the paper, and the image density when viewed from the surface opposite to the image printing surface is small, so that both-side printing can be performed favorably. Further, the present invention provides an ink set which does not cause image stains due to poor drying of a recording liquid, a recording method using the same, a recording apparatus, and a recorded matter. To provide an ink set excellent in stability over time without the growth of mold and the like in a processing liquid and a recording liquid even at the time, and a recording method, a recording apparatus, and a recorded matter using the same. SOLUTION: An ink set comprising a combination of a recording liquid containing a resin-coated coloring material and a treatment liquid containing fine particles reactive with the resin-coated coloring material.
