titleOfInvention | Production of carboxylic acids by microorganisms |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a new reaction which can easily separate and remove a cyano group of a nitrile compound by using a microorganism to obtain a corresponding carboxylic acid and which has a good induction effect. Providing a derivatized substrate, and in the reaction of selectively hydrolyzing only a specific cyano group of a polynitrile compound with almost no side reaction to obtain the corresponding cyanocarboxylic acids, separation and removal are easy and a good induction effect. To provide a new inducing substrate that provides Kind Code: A1 A method for obtaining a carboxylic acid by reacting a microorganism having the ability to hydrolyze a cyano group of a nitrile compound or a treated product of the microorganism with a nitrile compound, wherein a cyanopyridine as an enzyme-inducing substrate and terminal branching of C4 to C7. A method for producing a carboxylic acid, comprising using either an arnonitrile or a phthalonitrile. |
