abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for spraying irregular-shaped refractories having high corrosion resistance to molten metal and molten slag and excellent physical properties such as bulk density, porosity and bending strength. SOLUTION: In addition to a refractory aggregate, a refractory powder, and a binder, a powdery refractory composition containing flaky graphite is fed in a gas stream in a powdery state, fed into a transport pipe, and floated in the transport pipe. A method for spraying irregular-shaped refractories, wherein the water is conveyed while being added, and the construction water is added in the middle of the conveyance pipe, and thereafter the air is conveyed and then sprayed through a spray nozzle. |
