titleOfInvention | Purification method of cyclopentenolones |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modifications) [Problem] To easily and efficiently purify thermally unstable cyclopentenolones, and in terms of operability and economical efficiency even when implemented on an industrial scale. A method for advantageously purifying is provided. SOLUTION: A cyclopentenolone (1) represented by the general formula (1) is reacted with calcium chloride in the coexistence of an ester solvent, and the resulting cyclopentenolone (1) / calcium chloride adduct is separated and obtained. A method for purifying cyclopentenolones, which comprises decomposing the resultant to recover the cyclopentenolones (1). (In the formula, R 1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group or an aralkyl group, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.) |
