abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a means for further studying granulysin and using it as a therapeutic agent for infectious diseases. SOLUTION: 15K which does not show cytotoxicity itself. Granulysin is taken up by macrophages, then activated, kills the bacteria taken up in macrophages, and found that there is a new pathway.Furthermore, by using this as an active ingredient, there are few side effects, In addition, it has been found that bacteria are hard to obtain resistance and can provide an effective infectious disease therapeutic agent. That is, it has been found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by providing a therapeutic agent for infectious diseases containing 15K granulysin as an active ingredient.
