titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for suppressing microbial growth in stored water
abstract (57) [Summary] (Modifications) [Problem] To provide a method and an apparatus capable of efficiently suppressing the growth of microorganisms in water containing no chlorine or chloride ions at low cost and efficiently. A water storage tank (1) is provided with a water inlet (2) at the top and a water inlet (3) at the bottom. An upper limit water level sensor 1 for detecting upper and lower limit set water levels U and L is provided on an inner side surface of the water storage tank 1. 2U and 12L are installed. Further, ultrasonic oscillators 13a and 13b are attached to the inner side surface of the water storage tank 1 at positions below the lower limit set water level L so as to face each other. The ultrasonic oscillators 14a and 14b are mounted to face each other. The controller 19 includes the ultrasonic oscillators 13a, 13b, 14 a, supply of high-frequency power to the heater 14 based on the detection signal from the temperature sensor 16, control of the booster pump 8 based on the detection signal from the water level sensors 12U, 12L, and the like.
