abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel polymerization catalyst component capable of producing polyolefins with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A catalyst component for olefins polymerization obtained by contacting a compound (A) containing a metal element selected from any of Groups 5 to 11 of the periodic table with a ligand component (B). , An amidine compound is used as the ligand component (B). The catalyst component of the present invention includes, in addition to the compound (A) containing a metal element selected from any of Groups 5 to 11 of the periodic table and the amidine compound of the ligand component (B), A catalyst component obtained by contacting a compound (C) containing a metal element selected from any of Group 1, Group 2, Group 11, Group 12, and Group 13 is also included. By using the catalyst component according to the present invention, it can be used as a polymerization catalyst component which gives polyolefins having a high molecular weight and a low molecular weight component. |
