PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin in which inert particles are uniformly dispersed without the presence of coarse particles and to reduce voids generated around the inert particles. Provided is a method for producing a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin composition. SOLUTION: A first step of heating a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin to a molten state by adding inert particles to the polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin in a molten state. Step 2 and a third step of kneading the molten polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin and the inert particles. When the inert particles are added, the average particle diameter is 10 to 1000 μm. A process for producing a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate resin composition, in which a fine powder of polybutylene terephthalate resin is simultaneously added. |
