titleOfInvention Forced sieving method, equipment for forced sieving, and preparation of a well-mixed blend of powdered substances
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forced sieving method suitable for giving a powdery substance a particle size distribution spectrum composed of a main mode having a narrow distribution centered on a value of several tens of microns and a part of a micron-sized powder. An apparatus suitable for performing the forced sieving method; and a method for preparing a well-mixed blend of at least two powdered substances using the forced sieving method. SOLUTION: The powdery substance is forced to pass through a strong assembly in which at least two screens are overlapped on each other. Each screen has a different hole diameter and is arranged such that the diameter of the hole increases as the powdered material passes through the assembly. The hole diameter of each screen is At least, it is always larger than when trying to obtain the same particle size distribution spectrum under the same conditions using only one screen of the same type.
