| abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a method and an apparatus for handling crisis management relating to future phenomena. A sponsor (12) specifies a product for a phenomenon in which a range of consequences may occur in the future. The ordering party (13) submits a contract for a given phenomenon and a corresponding range of results. The contract specifies for each outcome the rights to be given to the ordering party at a future date and the consideration to be given to the other party (14). Separately from this contract, the other party enters data regarding the likelihood of the probability that each result within a predetermined range will appear in the future. The processing device (20) calculates the price to the party concerned from the registered data, evaluates each contract, compares the presented price with the calculated price, and establishes the contract. Once a contract is concluded, it is available for sale until maturity. The processing device processes the exchange of rights between the parties who have concluded the contract when the contract expires. |
