titleOfInvention Poly (arylene ether) polymer and composition containing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable polymer having a high glass transition temperature and a low hygroscopicity, which is particularly useful as a coating agent and an adhesive. SOLUTION: The polymer of the present invention is a poly (arylene ether) polymer containing a polymer repeating unit having the following structural formula. — (O—Ar 1 —O—Ar 2 —O—) m — (— O—Ar 3 — O-Ar 4 -O) n - ( wherein, Ar 1, Ar 2, Ar 3 and Ar 4 are identical or different aryl radicals, m is 0 to 1, n is 1-m, at least one aryl group In part, at least one unsaturation that is non-aromatic and that is cross-linked at a curing temperature of less than 200 ° C. without producing volatiles during curing and without generating functional groups after curing. The cured film (with the groups grafted) has a Tg of 160-180 ° C., a frequency-independent dielectric constant of less than 2.7, and a maximum moisture absorption of 0.17. Less than wt.%, the polymer is therefore particularly useful in interlayer dielectrics and die attach adhesives.
