titleOfInvention | Rotating member and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] For a conventional rotating member used for a bearing or the like, There has been a problem that hydrogen brittle short-life exfoliation occurs on the contact surface due to penetration of hydrogen atoms or ions generated during rotational contact into the steel. A rotating member made of steel that is in rolling or sliding contact with a mating member under oil lubrication, grease lubrication, or mixed lubrication of a hydrofluorocarbon as a refrigerant and a lubricant soluble therein. By forming a hydrogen barrier layer composed of a concentrated portion of an element or compound having a lower diffusion coefficient of hydrogen than the base material on the contact surface, the amount of hydrogen generated due to changes in the use environment and lubrication environment increases. In addition, it suppresses hydrogen penetration into the inside of the base material and suppresses hydrogen brittle short-life peeling. |
