(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To obtain a power transmission belt having a long running life by improving the adhesive force between a core wire and a belt body in a high-temperature environment. A core wire is embedded in a belt body of a power transmission belt. The belt body 14 is vulcanized and molded from the rubber composition, and at the same time, the core wire 16 is vulcanized and bonded to the belt body 14. The cord 16 is composed of a pair of rubber reinforcing cords 160S and 160Z, the surfaces of the rubber reinforcing cords 160S and 160Z are coated with a resorcin-formaldehyde-latex composition, and a halogen-containing polymer and an acrylic resin monomer are further provided on the outermost layer. And an adhesive layer containing an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, a crosslinking agent, and an additive for improving heat resistance. |
