abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a non-sintered nickel electrode having high active material filling efficiency and small variation. Further, by suppressing the amount of discharge reserve, a nickel-metal hydride battery having a large discharge capacity and excellent charge-discharge cycle performance is provided. SOLUTION: The non-sintered nickel electrode for an alkaline battery mainly containing nickel hydroxide, which contains carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) having a degree of etherification in a range of 0.9 to 2.5. This is a non-sintered nickel electrode characterized by the following, and is an alkaline battery to which it is applied. |
