titleOfInvention Neutron dosimetry service method
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a measurement service method capable of measuring neutron fluence with high accuracy and speed in order to evaluate collective and individual doses due to neutron radiation in an emergency. SOLUTION: In order to evaluate the collective / individual dose due to neutrons in an emergency by a service contract with a facility that may generate neutrons, the neutrons are enclosed in a gold foil 1 and a cadmium box 2 exposed in a storage box 3. Gold leaf 1cd, Install and maintain at different points in and around the facility. When a neutron beam leaks, these gold foils 1 and 1cd are taken out, the neutron fluence is measured, and the measurement result is provided to the customer. In this case, since the neutron beam is attenuated by the distance, the weight of the gold foil is changed according to the distance from the neutron beam source. According to the present invention, neutron dosimetry in an emergency can be performed with high accuracy and speed, and the measurement result can be communicated to a public organization through a customer and an appropriate action can be performed.
